Regulation 6 Enrolment of 13[individuals seeking to enrol] with biometric exceptions
(1) For individuals seeking to enrol who are unable to provide fingerprints, owing to reasons such as injury, deformities, amputation of the fingers/ hands or any other relevant reason, only Iris scans of such individuals seeking to enrol will be collected.
(2) For individuals seeking to enrol who are unable to provide any biometric information contemplated by these regulations, the Authority shall provide for handling of such exceptions in the enrolment and update software, and such enrolment shall be carried out as per the procedure as may be specified by the Authority for this purpose.
