Rule 7 Travelling allowance

(1) The Chairperson, while on tour or for the journey undertaken to join the Authority or on the expiry of his term with the Authority while proceeding to his home town, shall be entitled to the travelling allowance, daily allowance, transportation of personal effects and such other benefits at the same rate as are applicable to a Secretary to the Government of India.

(2) In case the part-time Member is called upon to go out of the ordinary place of his residence for discharging his duties as such Member, he shall be entitled to travelling allowance, daily allowance and accommodation at the same rate as are applicable to a Secretary to the Government of India.
