Rule 2 Definitions

(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires, -

(a) “Act” means the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 (18 of 2016);

(b) “Form” means Form annexed to these rules;

(c) “Schedule” means the Schedule annexed to these rules;

(2) Words and expressions used and not defined in these rules, but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
