The Aadhaar and Other Laws (Amendment) Ordinance, 2019
The Ordinance was promulgated on 2 March 2019 to give effect to the post-Puttaswamy amendments to the Aadhaar Act, 2016 while Parliament was not in session. It was replaced — with the same substantive content — by the Aadhaar and Other Laws (Amendment) Act, 2019 on 25 July 2019.
