This Privacy Policy explains how Liner Notes ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Liner Notes iOS app.

1. Information We Collect

• Account/identity data: We do not create user accounts in Liner Notes.
• Usage and progress data: Game progress may be stored locally on your device.
• Diagnostics: We may receive crash/diagnostic information via Apple tools.
• Apple Music access: The app requests Apple Music permission only to play songs as part of gameplay.

2. How We Use Information

• To operate core app functionality.
• To save and restore your hunt progress on-device.
• To troubleshoot errors and improve app stability.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share personal data with third parties except as needed to provide platform services (for example, Apple Music playback and Apple-provided diagnostics).

4. Data Storage and Retention

Progress data is stored locally on your device unless otherwise stated. You can remove app data by deleting the app from your device.

5. Your Choices

• You can deny Apple Music permission in iOS Settings.
• You can uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data.

6. Children’s Privacy

Liner Notes is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
